Self-expression, self-acceptance, leadership development, and healthy life choices: these are things that all young people deserve. one•n•ten works to ensure that LGBTQ youth get those opportunities alongside their peers by creating a safe space, both mentally and physically, for them to reach their potential. At one•n•ten’s Youth Center, young people between the ages of 14 to 24 from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds can take place in weekly discussion groups or talk one-on-one with peers in a supervised setting. The center's programs include everything from Q High, a staff-guided online high school diploma program, to job-interviewing training and LGBTQ youth camp. one•n•ten collaborates with a variety of other organizations that help young people, including the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS and the Native American Community Health Center.
