From Our Editors
The first Fox's Pizza Den opened its doors in 1971, unleashing a plume of garlicky, marinara-laced fragrances that quickly pulled diners in. Nearly five decades later, the lure is just as strong. At this point, the restaurant's pizza sauce has won awards for its San Marzano tomatoes and perfectly balanced blend of flavors. The quality tomatoes are combined with a drizzle of special-grade Italian extra-virgin olive oil, a smear of freshly crushed garlic, and pecorino romano cheese from central Italy's Apennine Mountains. Once the sauce is layered onto Fox's made-from-scratch, hand-tossed dough, it forms the perfect foundation for customers' edible designs.
They can choose from classic toppings, such as beef or green peppers, or opt for a specialty pie, like the Chicken Rancher's three-cheese blend, diced tomatoes, and ranch dressing. The menu also includes stromboli, wings, and sandwiches.
