What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Hackingtons is a code school for kids with no previous coding experience. We focus on HTML5 and web development skills. Our classes size is 6 kids and our one year afterschool program covers HTML, CSS, Video Game Programming with Scratch, and beginning JavaScript.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide Macbooks and all of the software is open-source.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Hackingtons was built for my son, a 4th grader at Valhalla elementary. But it's also for myself-- it's the club I would have wanted to be a part of as a kid. Forget piano lessons, lets code something.

What do you love most about your job?
Coding is all about being creative. Put 6 kids together in a class, give them the skills to create anything, and let them loose on the world. This is every teachers dream.
