There was some confusion has to getting our tickets there. We had to stand in line because my print out didn't have a bar code to scan.

It's extremely crowded. You walk a while from the parking lot to the actual venue, and then have to wait for a long time for a beer - we waited about 30 minutes just to get our first round. Once we got the beer it was fun (of course) but just know that on a Saturday it's a 30 minute wait for beer.

From Our Editors

Oktoberfest at Fairplex brings a taste of Bavarian culture to Los Angeles with authentic German food, music, and plenty of beer at the home of the L.A. County Fair. Each night, oom-pah-pah music fills the airwaves as visitors enjoy various German beers from Warsteiner and Beck?s. As fall pairs with colorful leaves and pumpkins that fly south for the winter, so also beer pairs with German cuisine such as bratwursts, black forest cake, and apfelstrudel. Attendees also enjoy games, prizes, and musical performances from live tribute bands out on the outdoor stage.
