I was disappointed with the fact that she seemed more interested in selling her yarn then actually teaching knitting

I didn't even use the groupon nor did I want to. I called to schedule an appointment but they are only available basically one day a week and the person on the phone was rude.

She was a great teacher.

The "instructor" was a snob. She told me to bring patterns I wanted to learn to knit along with the supplies. I did and she only wanted to teach me what she wanted me to learn. She also was trying to sell me her own yarn which was outrageously priced. Basically belittled me because I bought yarn from Joann's. The experience was a joke. The groupon customer service was awesome when I called to complain. They gave me a credit for the amount that I paid that wouldn't expire.

After learning to knit at her grandmother's feet in Romania, owner and clothes designer Mihaela Manitiu now marshals her crafting acumen to lead classes where, according to Splash, "students learn to understand the essence of their creations and are not only instructed, but inspired." Picking up pointers in the art of European-style knitting, visitors craft elegant woolly compositions such as scarves and other cozy accouterments while getting acquainted with the materials and techniques needed to knit their very own memoirs.
