Clay Art Center, Port Chester

Since its opening in 1957, the Clay Art Center has been led by a long line of artists, but its mission has always been the same: to use the arts to enrich and touch lives. In their studios, creatives from young to old are welcome to get their hands dirty, whether it's their first time behind the wheel or they're a seasoned sculptor. Through kids classes, adult workshops, and community events, the center hopes to create a stimulating environment for artistic development. Not feeling creative? Art admirers can also get in on the action by visiting one of the center's constantly changing exhibitions, which showcase artwork by sculptors from center students to artists on-the-rise.
