Before studying massage therapy, Elizabeth Doty worked in the surgical unit of a hospital, where doctors played Operation. As she completed her daily rounds, she witnessed the downside of modern medicine: it did very little to ease everyday aches and tension. Elizabeth began searching for alternative healing methods and ultimately discovered a love of bodywork. She nurtured her passion at East-West College of the Healing Arts, and emerged with a license to practice massage therapy. She specializes in deep-tissue, rehabilitative, and sports massage, normalizing muscle function by applying firm kneads and focused pressure.
