Journey's Haven Riding School, Rehoboth

Like many young girls, Sherri Savoy dreamed of horses. However, her dreams went far beyond simply riding through flowery meadows; in these visions, Sherri saw herself someday owning and operating a lesson and show facility. That dream came to fruition in 2003 in scenic Rehoboth, Massachusetts, where Sherri opened Journey’s Haven Riding School, naming the facility after her own late show horse.

There, Sherri falls back on more than three decades of experience as a licensed instructor and trainer while teaching equitation, hunters, and Western riding styles to students of all ages. Sherri builds her lessons from the ground up, making sure to emphasize proper preride essentials such as handling and grooming. For students with a similar dream to her own, Sherri also provides a working-student program that introduces newcomers to the inside secrets of horse-farm management.
