What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

My business offers life coaching, business consulting for team building, and alternative modalities for gathering insight and motivation. For example, I teach mindfulness and I conduct yoga therapy sessions to help people mine their motivation.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I recognize that there are people who are fundamentally well and don't require the services of a mental health professional; perhaps they want to change careers but don't know how, or they want to develop their employees, for example. Or they have a project that has gotten out of hand and they need fresh and informed eyes to restart it. These folks can use some guidance, but might not need a therapist for their goal. Coaching is neither counseling nor therapy, though both processes are sometimes experienced as therapeutic.

What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy helping people break down what seems like an insurmountable task into bite-size pieces that are simpler to accomplish. I revel in helping someone find the logic in confusing goals. I really love seeing the look of satisfied accomplishment on clients' faces when they achieve their goal.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

Tears of joy.
