If it weren't for Pilates, Mojy's Expresso Fit Pilates' owner would have needed back surgery. Instead, she rehabilitated her slipped discs—an injury she suffered 30 years prior—by steadily practicing and implementing the core-strengthening exercises, which motivated her to eventually become an instructor.

These days, Mojy leads classes that cater particularly to non-athletes and those without prior kinesiology knowledge, the same background Mojy brought to the workout when she began.
