"Picked, never packed." That's the motto at Sensible Fork, a café and grill devoted to preparing health-conscious meals using local, organic produce. The menu aims to satisfy a variety of diets, thanks to plenty of low-cal, low-carb, and gluten-free options. The dishes are also refreshing in their creativity. Steamed dumplings are stuffed with turkey and scallions then drizzled with plum sauce; artichokes fried in grapeseed oil are topped with shaved parmesan; and grilled salmon is placed over quinoa and sautéed spinach in a coconut carrot sauce. Sensible Fork serves breakfast and lunch as well, during which guests can enjoy fresh smoothies such as the mango-turmeric sweetened with coconut milk.
