Mill Mountain Zoo, Roanoke

For more than six decades, Mill Mountain Zoo, which sits amid the 568 acres of Mill Mountain Park, has opened its doors to kids and grownups to get them in touch with animals from around the world. There are more than 180 animals representing nearly 60 species, including many vulnerable and endangered species. During a visit to the park, whether it's as part of a school group or a special event, you may see the following fauna, all supervised by Co-directors are Robin Lentz and Derek Kellogg.
