Though she originally planned to become a medical doctor, Kristy Allen found an alternative route to help treat others’ bodily imbalances. Allen received a degree in chiropractic and trained further in the areas of pediatrics and nutrition before starting her practice. At One Life Chiropractic, she employs an array of cutting-edge technology and a certification in the Brimhall technique to treat ailments. This technique focuses on the body's structural integrity, nutrition, and reactions to allergens such as food, pollen, and Fran Drescher's voice. Allen is joined in her healing efforts by Dr. Patricia DeJoy, an experienced chiropractic practitioner with a background in biomedical engineering.
The team pinpoints physical and emotional maladies with neurologic and orthopedic exams, as well as advanced diagnostics through hair analysis, salivary tests, and blood tests. The doctors may recommend low-force spinal adjustments, Erchonia cold-laser therapy, or magnetic-field therapy to treat a range of concerns. An onsite acupuncturist, nutritionist, and massage therapists round out the practice's holistic approach and pickup basketball team.
