What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Here at Rockwall Hills, we are dedicated to teaching correct riding techniques, whether you just want to get comfortable around horses or you want to learn to ride to the Olympic level, we have everything you need. Our head trainer is long listed for the Olympic team in three-day eventing.
What is the experience customers can expect? You get a 45-minute, one-on-one riding lesson with one of our certified riding instructors. You will learn grooming techniques and how to tack up your horse properly, and then receive a private riding lesson, learning to steer, post the trot, canter, jump, etc.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Our head trainer, Ellen, has a passion for horses and teaching. She has created an environment that is family friendly and kid-oriented. We have lots of group lessons available as one advances, and the Rockwall Pony Club is based out of our barn.
What do you love most about your job? The joy of seeing one advance in their riding. Whether it is their first time riding, their first time to canter, jump, complete their first show, that is why we do what we do. For the love of the horses and the love of the equestrian sport.
