Raising money for Hackensack University Medical Center since 1980, HackensackUMC Foundation combines philanthropy, medical innovation, and old-fashioned good times. Events range from fashion shows to motorcycle raffles to golf outings, and proceeds go to improving existing facilities on campus and building new ones entirely. Just a few of the medical center's new additions made possible through the foundation include the John Theurer Cancer Center, the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital, and the AirMed One Helicopter, which logged more than 100 flights in just its first six months in the air.
