Wines for Humanity, Sacramento

Anton Steinhart has always been a philanthropist at heart. For years, though, he wasn't sure how to direct his energies. With ample experience in the wine industry, Anton finally put the pieces together and started Wines for Humanity, which provides in-home wine tastings whose profits go toward preventing homelessness in families with children. Anton and his team of wine advisors bring local and international wines to homes, tailoring each visit to suit clients' different needs such as expanding a wine collection or simply enjoying the intimacy of a private tasting. Since 2007, his organization has raised and donated more than $425,000 to charity.
