Art on the Rocks, San Antonio

Treetops dressed in fall colors. Owls gazing down from a branch. A cup of coffee, cast in the dusky light of morning. Even if you haven't put brush to canvas before, the instructors at Art on the Rocks maintain that they can improve your artistic skill in the course of an evening by teaching you how to paint these simple projects. All of their paint-along workshops, held at Pepper's School of Music and Art, are rooted in step-by-step instruction. In keeping with the informal setting, each is also BYOB. Though you're expected to bring your own libations, don't worry about the supplies: Art on the Rocks provides the requisite canvases, paints, and brushes, as well as cups and bottle-openers.
