Core-Breathing 4 Golf has developed a unique teaching philosophy that aims to seamlessly connect a golfer’s core strength with the physical swing. By combining Bill Westerlund’s 40 years as a PGA instructor and Scott Bartley’s 35 years as a qigong master, the cofounders base their instruction on qigong methods, teaching students a four-step breathing process that maximizes the body’s core energy and clears the mind of emotional barriers. The result is more controlled, consistent performance across the board. Golfers notice an improvement in ball-striking abilities and flagstick javelin throwing by gaining a deeper understanding of the connection between their internal energy and physical swing.
With Mission Bay Golf Course and Practice Center acting as the learning facility, instruction programs range from private lessons on individual aspects of the game to full-game lessons that range from a half day to up to three days.
