The registered nurse was amazing , made the experience totally bearable! If you show up 40 min in advance you can get numbing cream.

Not really. Laid back place. Try to get there 15 minutes before appt. time so numbing cream can be applied. It really helps.

It's right next to Effin's in the College Area. Find parking on El Cajon Blvd, it's not hard, plenty of spots. They do tattoos, tattoo removals, and I'm pretty sure I saw someone getting a haircut, too. Nice, open space. Nice people.

Don't be alarmed that San Diego Laser Removal is in Propaganda Tattoo. It IS legit! Very clean, staff very personable, Art on the walls is fantastic and some is done by the tattoo artists. My tattoo removal was done by a nurse who was very professional and thorough in his explanation of the process. I've been to that large chain laser removal place and believe me, San Diego Laser Removal is much much better. There is quite a bit of difference in how the laser procedure I got yesterday and the one at the chain turned out. I can actually tell that something has taken place...it doesn't look pleasant, but I have complete confidence the color is going to come out this time!

From Our Editors

At San Diego Laser Removal, located inside Propaganda Tattoo, tattoo artists join forces with a laser-wielding medical staff either to give inked artwork the heave-ho or remove just a portion and retouch the remainder. The second option comes in handy for salvaging the best parts of an existing tattoo, such as the first 99 decimal digits of pi. For fading artwork, the staff's arsenal of three Q-switched lasers covers the full spectrum of ink shades, though greens and yellows may require more treatments. The staff can limit discomfort—which is comparable to the slap of a thin rubber band—by applying topical anesthetic cream or injecting local anesthetic into targeted areas.
