Segway Nation, San Diego

Segway Nation whisks adventurers through the streets of San Diego on tours that delve into its rich history. Two or three times per day, segways roll through the Gaslamp Quarter and downtown or through the Embarcadero and along the waterfront.

On the two-hour Gaslamp and downtown tour, guides tell tales of what shaped the city as segways roll past Victorian buildings in the Gaslamp Quarter, cruise to a barbecue joint featured in the movie Top Gun, and pass by erie La Punta de los Muertos—a mass burial ground for Spanish sailors who died in 1769.

On the one-hour Embarcadero and waterfront tour, segways take a more scenic route along the coast. They make stops at everything from the USS Midway to the San Diego Art Museum while overhead the warm sun shines and government planes track everyone's move.
