From Our Editors
Paper is the medium at Sunjuna. Kids and adults get their hands wet and craft paper mache bowls, snip and glue strips to collage vivid scrapbook pages, and carefully construct 3D paper sculptures. Single-session classes—and special events, such as the Father’s Day workshop—tackle specific projects, while summer camps immerse youngsters in extended art courses. If looser guidance is what students are after, they can enroll in a Create Your Own Art class and work independently under the tutelage of a teacher. Classes are capped at just six artisans per session, which allows for individual attention and ensures that paper airplanes aren’t weighed down by too many passengers.
