What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
There's a certain sensual intuition to human motion. A student in tune with their body and the way it moves with another will enjoy what tango has to offer.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Traditional tango is just that: Traditional. I started Rockstar because I wanted to share a form of tango I could take outside of the dance hall. With Rockstar Tango, I combined the music I love - hip-hop, R&B, pop, and electronica - with the sultry Argentinean fundamentals.

What do you love most about your job?
I love watching my students open up to their dance partners and themselves, in a dynamic, fun environment. My biggest joy is seeing one of my students get the stars in their eyes and take what they've learned out of the classroom to events and parties.
