Ashley Burnett will be the first to tell you that, although the path to wellness isn’t always an easy one, the destination is a place filled with love and self-acceptance. A lifelong lover of dance, Burnett’s active lifestyle was thwarted time and again by a crippling sugar addiction. By the time she reached college, the normally chipper young woman found herself dragged down by anxiety, depression, and overwhelming body issues. Upon realizing the source of her physical and psychological troubles, Burnett thought back to the organic diet espoused by the farmers markets back home. With that in mind, she vowed to make a change. Today, she teaches other women to do the same through her work at Strong Body Love. Ashley’s services range from detox plans and nutritional coaching to massage therapy and a unique Body Love Bootcamp, where she leads students in the worthwhile labor of learning to accept themselves.
