California Lasik Center is an alliance of seven different clinics and their resident experts. Ophthalmologists and optometrists practice side-by-side, the former examining canals and eardrums while the latter treat everything from near-sightedness to astigmatisms. Both sorts of doctors provide consultations at any of the locations, though they have special facilities for medically intensive courses of treatment. LASIK surgery, for example, is conducted solely at the Pasadena Surgery Center, which houses the high-tech lasers and sentient robot nurses necessary for the treatment.
