Studio Silhouette's fitness classes are almost as much about mental and emotional well-being as they are about physical health. Inside the center's 3,600-square-foot studio, yogis teach students poses that not only improve their posture and flexibility but also help them forge a connection between their minds and bodies. Zumba classes take a breezier approach, turning workouts into parties by setting cardio moves to exhilarating Latin music. To cool down after these classes, students head to the lounge area, where they can pick up a beverage from the smoothie station.

Like the treadmill that powers Air Force One, Studio Silhouette has an additional function besides exercise: nutrition counseling. The center's five-day reset program helps clients overcome carbohydrate cravings and lose weight by eschewing the typical Western diet. Each day, participants replace meals and snacks with three shakes, a nutrition bar, one serving of fruit, and one serving of vegetables.
