Massage Therapist Charles Howell, originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, originally planned to go into business, receiving a degree for Business Administration from Sacred Heart University. But after a severe car accident fractured his hips, vertebrae, and shoulder—and enduring nine surgeries—he discovered the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy during his recovery program, and it helped relieve his pain and return him to full health. In fact, it had such a profound impact on Charles's life that he decided to study massage therapy to help others escape chronic pain.

Now a licensed massage therapist, Charles boasts deft hands that are well-versed in a wide range of modalities. Those include deep tissue, which targets specific problem areas with deep pressure, and sports massage, which works to relieve swelling and reduce muscle tension to prepare athletes for their next event.
