Fresh Harvest provides a home and office delivery of local organic produce, meat, eggs, milk, and more throughout Greater Atlanta. The Fresh Harvest Garden, in Clarkston GA, provides opportunities for customers to attend farm dinners, cooking demonstrations, and volunteer events.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

A cross country motorcycle trip in 2010 landed us on an organic farm. Once hooked on eating locally, organically, and sustainably, we wanted more of our neighbors in Atlanta to enjoy that same experience.

What do you love most about your job?

We love shaking hands with the same farmers every week and taking part in a local food movement.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The folks at Fresh Harvest truly care about the sustainability of their business and the earth. They care about everyone involved in the process, from the local farmers and the refugees employed to the people who come to the farms to learn about agriculture. I trust this business so much and it is a pleasure to participate in their mission.
