Funke Yoga, Scottsdale

Mara Funke founded her own studio to give certified instructors and novice yogis a place to deepen their practice. Though she isn't an instructor, she spent five years exploring ancient yogic traditions at various studios. She draws on this experience—as well as her master's degree in public health—as she helps others achieve mental and physical well-being. To that end, she welcomes students of all levels and even offers a free class each week for those who may not have enough gold doubloons to spare.
