Goodwood Tavern, Scottsdale

Goodwood Tavern's funky architecture—an uber modern façade with cutouts revealing the rooftop—makes it hard to miss. But don't be fooled by its sleek exterior, because the inside is quite cozy. The warm vintage interior revolves around the central bar and its brass shelves, which are anchored by a large hourglass. Here, bartenders serve up beers, bourbons, and handcrafted cocktails to guests watching the game on numerous flat-screen TVs.

Amid gilt artwork and dartboards, intimate booths and tables are the site of gastro pub meals. The diverse menu, designed by chef-owner Aaron May of the Lettuce Turnips Beets restaurant group, features warm salted pretzels with cheese sauce, buffalo chicken dumplings, pork belly bánh mì, and double cheeseburgers.
