Very substandard amenities compared to other auctions. Vendors sell expensive food and drink and not one table or chair to be found. Seemed very disorganized from a spectators perspective. I for one will not return.

It was great to walk around and look at the cars. Unfortunately, if you want to sit and watch the auction there are not many seats unless you are a bidder.

On the website it indicated that on Wed it would close at 4:00pm to get ready for the gala. We showed up at 2 and we were turned away. Russo steelee indicated that they wouldn't accept them the next day. Pretty crappy on their part. Luckily groupon let us exchange them.. Thank you. Much appreciated.

Although you have far fewer cars than the Barrett-Jackson Auction we'd attendended the weekend prior, the caliber of cars was equal. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience though were disappointed to have to watch the auction on screens outside the auction floor. The parking was easy and the shuttle busses extremely timely - much better than BJ.

I purchased an admission for two for Wed. The parking attentant wouldn't let us into the parking lot, saying it was a private showing. I attempted to use the coupon on Thurs., and the one taking the tickets said mine was expired. When I told her we couldn't get in the day before, she told me they were open to the public but with a limited time, and she didn't know the time frame. I ended up buying an admission at the door.

From Our Editors

For the past 15 years, Russo and Steele's high-energy, action-filled auctions have been attracting not only auto buyers and sellers, but also those who simply appreciate vintage machinery. The auction's spectators view all the action from an elevated-platform seating arrangement that spans 360 degrees around the auction stage.

Scottsdale's five-day event showcases more than 800 of the best European sports cars, American muscle cars, hot rods, and customs live, on offer, and crossing the block. Notable past sales have included a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL "gullwing" coupe that sold for more than $1.3 million at a Monterey auction.

Russo and Steele's reputation in the auto-collecting community is high enough that it's often chosen to showcase extremely rare supercars—for instance, a one-of-a-kind 2013 SRT Viper GTS put up for auction to benefit the Sons of Italy Foundation in a 2014 event.
