In 2014, a young man who is a supreme foodie and happens to have a PhD degree Electronic Engineering met a renowned Chef and decided to open a restaurant in San Diego serving Authentic Chinese dry pot, a type of cuisine that enjoys wide popularity in China and other Asian countries. The restaurant witness tremendous growth in the past 3 years. It rapidly gained popularity and quickly emerged to be one of the most recognized Chinese restaurant in San Diego. At the beginning of 2016, they expanded their restaurant footprint into the Bay Area by opening the second Sizzling Pot King restaurant in Sunnyvale. The second one is another phenomenal success. In the holiday season of 2018, they brought their best crew and award-winning recipe to Seattle, aiming to bring the ultimate tasting experience to their clients and redefine their understanding of Chinese food, especially spicy dishes.
