Parking was more of a challenge than we had anticipated. But the food was good and it was an experience that we all enjoyed!

The breakfast is buffet style, so as soon as you come in and show your coupon, you're in a line and find your seats with meal and drinks in hand. It may be a good idea to have someone in your party save seats together while you're in line, if possible. Note, they give you separate tickets to get seconds (which is a separate table from the initial one - so you don't have to wait in the first line again). Eat, dance, and enjoy!

You can get seconds but it won't be necessary.

Long line at 11:30a to 12:30p. There were coffee cups and carafes of coffee on table. I helped myself to coffee and drank it while waiting in line. It made the wait bearable. Good coffee! The wait was worth it because the Swedish pancakes were the best I ever had in any restaurants I have been to.

Q&A with Kristine Leander, Executive Director

Apart from your business's main attraction, do you offer any "hidden" services or activities that visitors are always delighted to learn about?
Live music for dancing while eating pancakes. Immediately after pancakes, adjourn upstairs to try your hand at weaving (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) or visit with our genealogists (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.).

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
Swedish pancakes, like meatballs, are iconic to the Swedes. We serve our pancakes Swedish style with real whipped cream and lingonberries.

What special training do you or your staff have?
The Swedish Pancake Breakfast is put on totally by volunteers, some of whom have been helping with the pancake breakfast for 10 years or longer.
