Jordan Ryan was so taken with Ashtanga yoga that she began teaching to share the practice with others. She instills the ancient discipline, which is known for its mindful movement, meditation, and breathing patterns that bring about harmony between mind, spirit, and body. During classes, she introduces what's known as Ashtanga's eight-limb system to new students and creates more challenging sessions for advanced students—though stopping short of demanding that they grow four more limbs.
