Mark and Margot of Savoy Swing Performance Troupe have taught dance for 6 years, in Seattle and western Colorado. Small group classes allow for personalized instruction and easy connections with new friends. No partner or previous dance experience required for this Swing 1 class. Expand and enjoy!

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Relax. Most of all, we want you to have fun in our classes. For one and a half hours each week, forget your everyday concerns, and simply enjoy yourself.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our dance students and friends in the north end of Seattle / Shoreline have asked us to teach, so here we go! We love teaching and introducing you to the expansive world of joyful social dance. Partner dance opens our hearts to each other in a profound way.

What do you love most about your job?
Watching students discover the happiness of dancing with each other. Dancers find they feel much better in their bodies, make new friends, and have a new appreciation for moving to music. This is a great joy to be part of.
