Draught Horse Brewery's founder Brad Tiernan has always been passionate about discovering the secret behind the production of craft beers. His excitement reached its peak whenever he came across a new flavor or brewing style. Receiving his very first "beer kit" for Christmas triggered Brad to start coming up with his own brewing techniques - first at his own garage, and then more professionally and at a larger scale. That led to establishing Draught Horse Brewery in 2015 in Lyon Township, at Grand River Avenue. Aside from the possibility of on-site tasting the venue also offers take-out services, as well as merchandise, including growlers and prowlers.
