What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

We offer a unique riding experience for those who want more than just a basic ride. Our farm focuses on the whole horsemanship experience with lessons that include all aspects of horse care. Our trainers work as a team to provide a safe, supportive learning environment that is professional, yet fun!

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?

Working with horses is an amazing experience that starts with grooming and getting to know your partner from the ground. Dress in casual clothing (yoga pants are great!) and a hard soled shoe/boot for safety (we have plenty of helmets on hand).

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Karen and David Fildes, owners of Caer Avallach Farm, are life-long educators who have seen first hand the value connecting with horses brings not only to youngsters, but to adults as well! Riders develop a strong sense of self and responsibility in working with horses that benefits mind and body.

What do you love most about your job?

Introducing horsemanship to families and developing life long connections with our "farm family."
