Mitzi and Molly's became friends on the sidelines of soccer and baseball fields, where their young sons played together. After frequent conversations, they became fitness buddies, and eventually decided to start a studio together to host their favorite activity, cycling.

The duo built CycleINPlace to feature tiers of state-of-the-art cycles with flywheels, arranged into stadium-like rows around the instructor's stage. A powerful sound system pumps energetic beats into the room at high volume to motivate cyclists. Driven by the music and the instructor's coaching, students conduct sprints, hill climbs, and intervals that alternate intense speed and intense conversations with an imaginary hiker.
