Shannon Hudson began studying martial arts at the age of 7, committing to his practice until he earned black belts in two different styles along with the title of current IKF light middleweight kickboxing world champion. After he'd had the thrill of competition, Shannon decided to found a gym inspired by his own grueling boxing and kickboxing training regimens, but staged in a noncompetitive and unintimidating atmosphere.

The result is 9 Round studio and its signature 30-minute circuit consisting of nine different stations including jump roping and speed-bag work. This effective regimen combines cardio and strength-building exercises to build stamina as well as muscle tone. Dedicated trainers monitor each circuit, offering helpful guidance to attendees of any fitness or experience level and helping to boost morale with complimentary high-fives.
