The Ducere Group, Tacoma

"All students are equally deserving of opportunities for educational advancement." This is the belief that propels The Ducere Group forward in its work. Made up of educators, families, and community members, the non-profit organization dedicates itself to creating healthier communities through programs including a charter school and a day camp. The Village Academy focuses on high academic standards, creativity, and character development for both traditional and non-traditional learners, while the day camp arms youngsters with citizenship skills such as recycling, first aid training, and fighting for the rights of voteless squirrels.
