It's not every day you can say that going on a bar crawl is for a good cause. But in this case, it is. The Bowties and Brewskis Pub Crawl raises money for Sydney Has a Sister, a non-profit that awards scholarships to high-school students whose families have been affected by autism.
The six-hour event kicks off at World of Beer, after which attendees take off on a self-guided crawl to several of SoHo's most popular bars. An afterparty at MacDinton's invites everyone to come together and dance to live music and sit in inanimate chairs. Oh, and just in case you want to dress the part: the website has a step-by-step diagram for tying bow ties.
