Global A'fare lets the fresh ingredients and richly seasonal flavors shine through in their elegant, simple meals. Chefs show reverence for Italian and Mediterranean traditions, but they incorporate a variety of cultural influences for a menu that spans the globe. Oysters on the half shell share menu space with entrees such as Cuban pork shank, Vietnamese pho, and picanha—a Brazilian cut of beef, served with rosemary-garlic fries and roasted Brussels sprouts. At their best, chefs blend traditions, as in the seafood cioppino—an Italian-Portuguese meal that first surfaced in San Francisco.
