DIY Ice Cream brings one of Thailand's most popular street-food treats, rolled ice cream, to the heart of Miami. Staffers pour liquid bases, ranging from sugar-free vanilla to Thai tea, onto a freezing stainless steel surface, where they mix in ingredients like kiwi sauce and Nutella before rolling the newly frozen mixture into awaiting cups.
Then, they top these made-to-order creations with everything from dry cereal to fresh fruit to unique ingredients like Goldfish crackers. Staff members also prepare specialty ice cream combos, like the Matcha Lady—a green tea base mixed with strawberries and topped with Pocky sticks and fresh lychee.
