"Meet, Drink, and Paint Happy." That's the motto, and simple formula for fun, at Uptown Art Monclair. In this social—and very casual—art experience, aspiring painters are equipped with supplies, canvases, and aprons. Would-be Picassos that need an extra little boost can look to a friendly, hands-on instructor to guide them, as well as some liquid inspiration. Classes are open to artists of all levels, as co-founder Vicki Meads notes, “We love to see new artists attend our classes and leave with a finished painting. Their smiles tell it all!”
