Christina Velentin-Macias watched her dreams go up in smoke in July of 2007. Enlightened Hands Massage and Bodywork was her massage studio, a business that she had built from the ground up, and it was caught in a raging fire; all she could do was stand and watch as her practice burned. That's when she realized that Enlightened Hands wasn't gone, it couldn't be—it lived on within her, and in her desire to help people through the healing powers of massage. After re-opening in a new location, she got right down to business-her business-of helping people.
