Worst experience. Boat smelled like bleach. Roof was leaking onto the table. Table cloth was soaked with the leaking water from above and with bleach. My clothes were discolored due to the bleach on the table cloth. Food was cold as if it was unwrapped from the fridge. Too many people loaded into a very small space so it was very stuffy. I will be complaining to get a refund because this was utterly unacceptable.

We went on a Christmas Carol Ship dinner cruise. The office person was very nice to deal with when making reservations. Due to time of year and rainy weather, it was difficult to actually make our way to the cruise ship as there was virtually NO lighting on the dock. Also, we could see nothing out the windows on the cruise as the windows were all fogged up. This is not Accent Cruise's problem... strictly a weather thing, but be prepared should you go and it is cold and rainy out. The food provided was not as advertised. The plates were ice cold. Issues with washroom facilities. Issues with Safety & Lifejacket info given. Fortunately we were with other people so made the best of it. Perhaps a day cruise would be a better bet for this type of thing.

The staff was great, we were entertained for the whole night. Great way to have a staff Christmas party.

Unfortunately the experience wasn't the greatest. The plated turkey dinner arrived late and was cold upon serving. Not very professional staff. The worst thing was no toilet seat on one of the toilets in the ladies room! I brought a guest from Ontario who wasn't too impressed.

Xmas cruise was a huge disappointment this year. Ran out of food before everyone ate. Entertainment below par as could not hear the MC despite several requests to speak up. For $115 plus tips it wasn't worth it. Have gone every year for 7 years but this will be my last. The new management really needs to step it up. So disappointed! !

The departure time and the boat were both changed and we were not advised, consequently we "missed the boat" even though we were there well in advance of the original schedule. They did not answer their phone and the office was closed. Now they will not refund the amount paid for tax and service. Groupon will allow us to apply their part of the charge to another event. So, our experience is that Accent Cruises are unreliable and do not stand behind their advertised service.

Don't go. Even with the Groupon discount it isn't worth it. The boat is run down and smells of diesel. The toilets didn't flush and there were live exposed wires beside the overflowing men's toilet. The food. Well it was edible but not worth the money you pay. They ran out of some of the food (in particular the turkey roll) before everyone had a turn. Even though it was set up as a buffet, they portioned out the food themselves and still ran out. I only was given a small slice of turkey roll, not even a real turkey. When some went up for seconds the staff told them it wasn't allowed and we're very rude. They ran out of water for tea and didn't have the means to heat more water. ON a positive note our waiter was great and did as well as he could. The view from the top deck of the boat was beautiful, but the view would have been the same from any boat. The boat was cold and they had no way to heat it. Most people kept their coats on the whole time. They knew what the weather would be like and they weren't prepared for that either. The "caroling" consisted of a very unenthusiastic crew member bribing the guests with free drinks to get up and sing a few songs. We made the best of it and it has become a memory we laugh about because of the absurdity of it. Again don't go.

From Our Editors

Accent Cruises’ fleet of yachts provide panoramic views of this crepuscular splendour as they glide past Burrard Inlet, Point Atkinson, and Whytecliff Park during private and public charters. The event planners at Accent Cruises strive to match the opulent backdrop of international ocean freighters and coastal mansions with equally lavish cruises. A resident chef prepares baked salmon and baked chicken for an optional dinner during the cruises, which departs 2–6 nights a week, and 200 party guests can carouse on the M.V. Burrard Queen's deck for private charters. Vessels come with stereo systems, fully stocked bars, and at least one passenger who used to be a class clown, further enlivening cruises.
