The reason I wanted to take the class was to learn how to smoke brisket. When I arrived with my three amigos ready the smoke we were informed there would be no brisket because there weren't enough people in attendance. And it's not like we only had ten people there were close to thirty in attendance. I think the class should inform students about there policy. If they would have I would defiantly taken a different day the smoke some meat. Also I would say if you want to learn how to smoke hands on this is not the class to take, it's more preparation with rubs and injections.

A bit unorganized. Instructors unpaid family member was VERY disruptive Four people showed up two hours late and were allowed into a very crowded room. I picked up some very good grilling tips. I also disaggreed with the instructor on a couple of things

This is such a great class for beginners as well as experts. You'll walk away learning something. Great for groups of friends, Couples, and even bromances. My husband and I had such a good time. We met some really nice people. Made friends. Shared some wine, ate some really good food. We even got to take a ton of leftovers home to enjoy later. We bought some of their rubs and spices. So now we are putting to use some of the techniques we learned.

Gave this to my wonderful Husband for Christmas, he had the best expiriance ever. He came home with a lot of great new information and learned a lot of new valuable information. Most of all he said it was a very friendly group of BBQ'ers. I would give this as a gift again.

In classes that range from three to seven hours, Phoenix BBQ and Grilling School's instructors impart their knowledge of sauces and marinades.
