What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
For 25 years MMA Academy has been serving San Diego County by training everyone from 75yr old Grandmothers to elite Military and Law Enforcement Officers. Often seen on local and national television for their expertise, our Founder and Instructors have dedicated their lives to teaching Self Defense.

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Our Training Center is strictly a Self Defense Center so we do zero competitive fighting. By removing that element it really leaves any egos at the door since everyone is here to help each other learn self defense! Our best advice is relax and know that you are coming into an awesome environment.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our primary goal, from the day that our Training Center was founded, is to teach people to go home safe. Our training Centers have been doing exactly that for 25 years and have been recognized locally and nationally for all these years of community service.

What do you love most about your job?
We have been given a gift in doing what we are passionate about. In teaching Krav Maga, we are changing peoples lives and there are few things in this world greater than that.
