Times Square is a very nice place for any level of rider. Great facility, clean and the staff is friendly! It is evident that the horses are very well cared for! I was impressed by the lesson and would highly recommend this place.

Best and most knowledgeable staff for everybody: children and elderly; beginner to expert. I have never rode a horse before. I was trotting in 20 minutes. And I'm OLD, fat and ugly. I loved seeing 6-10 year old GIRLS, controlling this big wonderful animals, walking, trotting and even JUMPING. I believe I can be ready for the 2016 Equestrian Olimpics in Brazil. Or I'll be the next Latin Roy Rogers/Gene Autry.

It is a great place. They let the kids jump right on the sweet horses. They really care about their horses and the kids that come to learn. All hands on it is great!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND !!

Very busy keeps rescheduling appointment. Also 1 hour class is not individual. It is with a group of 6 that are various levels. My granddaughter is a beginner that has only been on one horse in the past. Was not given much instruction. Learned on own

From Our Editors

Paula and Lester Crampton draw on more than a quarter century of equestrian experience as they oversee stables at Times Square Riding Academy where competition-ready horses and reliable learning ponies munch on their hay. The academy’s instructors pair students of all skill levels with suitable horses during lessons on the art of English riding, which focuses on hunter and jumper skills, and culminates in the ability to serve high tea while astride. Indoor and outdoor riding arenas let the equestrian experts squeeze in a lesson no matter the weather, and a heated observation room enables parents to watch their children’s class without hiring a dragon to breathe on their hands in the winter.
