Provalo is the Italian word for “try it”—and with the aroma of piping hot pizzas and bacon wafting through Provalo Deli, there is no need to ask guests to try the food. Chefs slather 12-inch pizza crusts with barbecue and hot-wing sauces before sprinkling on pieces of baked chicken, bacon, peppers, and plenty of cheese. While pies cook to a golden finish in the oven, chefs focus on building hearty sandwiches. Chefs build both classic reuben and BLT sandwiches and more creative endeavors, such as the pesto pretzel, a combination of mozzarella and provolone cheese, tomatoes, and pesto sauce served inside warm pretzel bread. Other sandwiches pair cheeses and veggies with turkey, roast beef, and ham.
