What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
MAPN provides children of all ages the opportunity to learn how to play music, write music and perform music all within a safe, supportive atmosphere that encourages confidence and friendship building.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide all lesson hand outs and homework sheets for students to bring home. Students are encouraged to bring a binder and pencil to lessons. Guitar students need to supply their own guitar.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Music is essential to the developing mind as it improves social interaction, memory, patience, confidence and overall life skills. Students of the arts learn to think creatively and to solve problems on their own through hard work and patience.
What do you love most about your job?
We work with over 200 students a week at MAPN. Each one has different goals and motivations for studying music. It is amazing to watch them progress each week and become confident musicians.
